Subaru Forester is all-wheel drive Compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) comes in five trim levels: 2.5X, 2.5X premium, 2.5X Limited, 2.5XT and 2.5XT Limited. The X models feature a 170 horsepower SUBARU BOXER engine with 170 lb-ft of torque at 4,440 rpm. The XT models get a turbocharged version of this engine, feature a 224 hp turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine with 226 lb-ft torque at 2,800 rpm.
Safety equipment includes front airbags with side curtain airbags and front passenger side airbags (for a total of six airbags) and brake assist that detects panic-braking situations and applies maximum braking force more quickly.
