Honda Pilot is a large crossover with 4-door, 8-passenger sport-utility, available in 12 trims, ranging from the LX 2WD 5-Spd AT to the Touring 4WD 5-Spd AT w/ DVD. Every Pilot is powered by a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine, which delivers an impressive 250 horsepower and 253 lb.-ft of torque, 5-Speed Automatic Transmission with Grade Logic Control, 4-wheel independent suspension features a front strut/multi-link rear design for a smooth ride and excellent handling and Honda's innovative Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) helps to increase mileage and lower emissions by automatically deactivating and reactivating multiple cylinders, depending on the driver's needs.
Honda originally offered the Pilot in 3 trim levels: LX, EX and EX-L. The Pilot LX came with a respectable collection of convenience features, while the EX added upgrades like a power driver seat and automatic climate control. The EX-L had leather seating and could be ordered with an optional navigation system or rear-seat entertainment system.
